Rico Santana.

Rico Santana is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He joined forces with his cousin Pops da God and they became known as DirtyMid Ent, working with a group Santana, realized it was taking him nowhere. Returning to performing as a solo artist, Rico formed the record label Fam1st Militia Records, which released albums like Spontaneous Combustion, and Reign of Fire. In 2013, he hit the stage to preform once again with the release of Beautiful Struggle: The Story Of Amerikaz Nightmare, and realized music was much bigger than himself, and that he could share his story with the world. Now fast forward to 2015, which would mark the beginning of a fresh start with the help of STACE. The two began to embark on a new vision for Rico Santana, as he prepared for the release of his first official single “Right Now” and now with a lot of hard work and dedication Rico, feels as if it’s time for the release of his debut album “Journey Of A KING.”

Its first production was the HappyTokes’ documentary “Desire Path” for Spotify.

Local acts would come and go in the first 10 years by working under a “one song release” contract - either making a short appearance during an event, releasing less than one project, or in some cases, no project at all; those acts included: O! (Hip Hop), Kashea (Alt Rock) [noted as the first female to sign with the label] Roddy T (R&B), Rude Boy B (Southern Hip Hop), Nikki Giovanni (R&B), O.Mobbs (Christian), NVJones (Gospel)
